Just a 30-minute walk or short ride from Bang Tao Beach lies Wat Choeng Thale, a serene temple located along the main road toward the stylish town of Cherng Talay. Also known as Wat Cherng Talay, the temple combines striking Buddhist and Hindu imagery within a compact but beautiful complex. It’s a refreshing break from beach life and offers a glimpse into Phuket’s spiritual side. Entry is free, though donations are always welcome. The temple is typically open daily from 08:00 to 17:00.
