Modern concrete and glass building with black grid facade on green lawn under blue sky

Just two kilometers from the Sarasin Bridge, you’ll find the Phuket Gateway—a 1,600 m² public space created in 2007 as a symbolic entrance to Phuket. The site was designed to welcome visitors with striking architecture, sculptures, and educational elements.

Among the structures is an eye-catching turtle sculpture surrounded by eggs, a nod to the area’s role as a breeding ground for sea turtles. We especially admire the half-open rectangular pavilion by IDIN Architects. Its clean lines and dramatic shadows make it a perfect spot for a memorable (and very Instagrammable) photo.
