Hua Beach may not be Phuket’s most beautiful beach, but its raw setting and peaceful atmosphere make it a lovely escape—especially for those who enjoy nature and solitude. It’s a quiet gem that rewards those willing to wander a little off the beaten track.
Hua Beach is a small, peaceful cove tucked between Kamala and Patong Beach along Phuket’s Millionaire’s Mile. Known for its natural vibe and dramatic boulder-strewn shoreline, it’s ideal for travelers looking to escape the busier beaches. While not the best for swimming, Hua Beach offers tranquility, scenic beauty, and the chance to discover one of Phuket’s lesser-known coastal spots.
Hua Beach lies just south of Rayee Beach and Kamala Beach, and about 15–20 minutes north of Patong. From Kamala, it’s a 10-minute drive or a 45-minute walk. Look for the turnoff near Paresa Resort and follow a narrow jungle path that ends at a small parking lot right by the beach.

Note
Please note that taxi’s and such won’t pick you up easy from this beach. Better rent a scooter or car when you want to visit Hua Beach.
What to expect from Hua Beach in Phuket?
This beach is all about calm and nature—no crowds, beach bars, or rows of sunbeds. The beach is small, framed by granite rocks, and backed by trees, giving it a wild, untamed look. The sand is coarse and grainy, and while the sea is clear during high season, entering the water requires caution due to rocks scattered along the shore.
(Not for) Swimming and Snorkeling
Swimming is possible, especially in the dry season (November–April), but the rocky seabed means you’ll need to tread carefully. There’s some light snorkeling near the rocks, with the occasional tropical fish, but it’s not a top snorkel spot. Water shoes are recommended.
