Kraphunga Fresh Market, Phang Nga
Kraphunga Fresh Market is a lively covered market in Phang Nga Town, best visited early in the morning. By late morning most stalls are winding down. You’ll find piles of fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, and spices, along with meats and seafood. There are also stalls selling clothes, household bits, and plenty of local snacks and sweets.

Start Your Day Like a Local!
You’ll have to get up early to see this market at its best. Around eleven o’clock every merchant hopes to have sold out long ago. The market is covered and there are long tables to eat your newly bought snack. Come for breakfast? Act like the Thai and start the day with Pa Tong Go (or Bah Tong Kho). These are deep-fried dough snacks and are native to China. Pa Tong Go is a kind of cross between an Spanish Churro and a donut, try to buy them when they are still warm and dip them in a bag of delicious sweet pandan (green bag below on the picture) or condensed milk (white bag).
