Our visit to Nong Nooch Garden in 2024
During our visit to Nong Nooch in 2024, we were immediately captivated by the sheer size and beauty of the garden. Arriving early, we started our exploration by hopping on the complimentary tour tram, which provided a great overview of the sprawling grounds. The tram made it easy to spot key highlights, including the stunning French Garden, the mesmerizing Butterfly Hill, and the quirky Car Garden.

Our second favorite part was definitely the Dinosaur Valley. Seeing those life-sized dinosaurs up close was both thrilling and educational. The T-Rex sculptures, towering over the lush landscape, were particularly impressive. We couldn’t help but feel like we were stepping into a Jurassic world!

After exploring the gardens, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the cultural area, which showcased an impressive collection of holy artifacts, Buddha statues, and other valuable Thai historical treasures. This was by far our favorite part!
The visionary behind Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden and our personal encounter with Khun Kampon, the owner
The most memorable moment of our visit was meeting Mr. Kampon Tansacha, the owner and driving force behind Nong Nooch. His passion for horticulture and dedication to preserving Thailand’s botanical heritage were evident as he shared stories about the garden’s development.
Mr. Tansacha spoke proudly of his parents’ legacy, explaining how his mother, Mrs. Nongnooch, first envisioned transforming the land into a tropical paradise. His personal touch can be seen throughout the garden, from the innovative Garden in the Sky to the Car Garden, reflecting his love for both nature and automotive design. He really cares about the visitors, the gardens and its beautiful nature and of course everyone of his team members working at Nong Nooch, “we are all ants working on something beatufil” he told us.
The encounter left us with a deeper appreciation of Nong Nooch, not just as a tourist destination, but as a lifelong passion project built on creativity, dedication, and a love for nature.
