Legend Siam Pattaya: Cultural Theme Park

Discover Legend Siam, a vibrant cultural theme park near Pattaya, blending Thai heritage with fun attractions like haunted houses and electric carts. Despite some wear, its charm and spirit shine through.

Legend Siam: Cultural adventure with room for improvement

Legend Siam is a theme park on a 10,000 m² site in Jomtien, near Pattaya. Opened in early 2019, it focuses on Thai culture and traditions, blending history, entertainment, and art. Visitors can enjoy the charm of Thailand. We visited in 2024 and had a great time, despite some attractions declining. The haunted house and driving our own electric cart were especially fun!

Where in Pattaya is Legend Siam located?

Legend Siam is about a 30-minute drive from downtown Pattaya and easy to reach by car or taxi. The park has plenty of parking, and regular shuttles run from Pattaya for those without transport. We took a Bolt from downtown Pattaya and paid 200 THB. On the way back, we stopped at Khao Chi Chan viewpoint, where a Buddha is laser-engraved on a mountain, costing less than 100 THB from Legend Siam. We ended the evening at Moonwhale, a nice rooftop bar in central Pattaya.

Design & Atmosphere

When our Bolt driver dropped us at the large parking lot, we saw a huge, impressive gate. The park has three themed areas: Siam Vilize (the golden age), Thai Araya (traditional life), and Bhumi Pan Din (spirituality and nature). Sadly, Covid-19 and time have affected the park, and some attractions were closed when we visited. Legend Siam aims to showcase beautiful Thai culture, with graceful temples, traditional houses, and impressive sculptures that bring Thailand’s heritage to life.

The site needs a major update, but we believe this will happen soon! During our visit, a big festival was being set up, showing the park has other income sources. We hope some of this money will go into improving Legend Siam.

Activities and Attractions at Legend Siam

In better times, there was plenty to do in Legend Siam:

  • Cultural Shows: Enjoy traditional Thai dances and music performances that take you back to ancient kingdoms.
  • Folk Village: Here you can take workshops in traditional Thai crafts such as wood carving and Thai silk production.
  • Temples and Spiritual Experience: A highlight is the replica of the famous Erawan elephant and an impressive Buddha statue.
  • Amusement Park: For children and adventurers, there are attractions such as a haunted house and a mini-plane.

When we were there in 2024, not much was left of this grand park. We visited, saw and did the following:

  • Haunted House Baan Mae Nak: The highlight of our visit! Really quite exciting, and the team working here thoroughly enjoys creating the suspense! Compliments; you could plan a visit to Legend Siam just for this!
  • A Delicious Shake: To cool down, we ordered a mint chocolate shake, very tasty!
  • Driving an Electric Golf Cart: Another highlight! We enjoyed the cooling breeze while driving ourselves around the vast grounds; another round?

We believe Legend Siam will be fully updated in a few years, so we still recommend visiting. By going, you support the company and the staff who are working hard to improve the park.
