If you’re in Jomtien or Pattaya, it’s a must-visit for a drink, with beautiful views and a refreshing breeze from the gulf.

Where in Pattaya is D.I.B. Sky Bar located?

D.I.B. Sky Bar is on top of the D Varee Jomtien Beach Hotel, right by the coast of Jomtien. The hotel is easy to reach by car or taxi, with plenty of parking available. The bar is on the 38th floor, and the elevator gets you there in seconds for a unique rooftop experience in Pattaya. What makes it special? At 130 meters high, it’s the tallest public sky bar in Jomtien. We took the Baht Bus from Pattaya to Jomtien and got off right at the door by pressing the bell.

Design & Atmosphere

D.I.B. isn’t very modern or stylish, but it has a special charm. The great view creates the atmosphere! We sat on bar stools at a high table, enjoying the cool breeze and a mostly clear view. Part of the view is blocked by another tall building, but it still offers the best sky bar view in Jomtien.

The open-air terrace has colorful lights, tables, chairs, and some comfy lounge areas. There’s also an indoor space, so guests can choose a cozy room or a sea view. The vibe is relaxed but stylish, great for romantic nights or social gatherings.

Service & Hospitality

The staff is friendly and professional, welcoming us warmly. They gave great recommendations for drinks and food when we asked. However, our order took a long time to arrive, maybe because they were busy or having an off day.

What to eat and drink at D.I.B. Sky Bar?

D.I.B. Sky Bar has a varied menu with international and Thai dishes. They offer many cocktails, both classic and creative, plus premium wines and local and imported beers. The cocktails are well-made, and the food is fresh and tasty. Happy Hour runs from 18:00 to 20:00, making early visits appealing.

Our D.I.B. visit in 2024

During our visit, we ordered the signature BBQ spare ribs and cordon bleu, with sautéed vegetables, gratinated spinach, and baked potato. It wasn’t fancy, but tasty enough to recommend D.I.B. Sky Bar. The cocktails were average, but the main draw is the superb view!
