You can easily explore the island on foot since the distances between the most beautiful spots aren’t too far apart. However, sometimes it’s convenient to rent a scooter or take a motor taxi. The fare is 50 baht per person per ride, and there’s no need to haggle—everyone follows the same rates.
Renting a motorcycle or bike
f you prefer to drive yourself, you can rent a scooter for about 250 baht a day. Some accommodations also offer (free) bicycles, which are perfect for exploring the town center. Riding a bike allows you to soak up the authentic atmosphere and take your time enjoying everything.
Explore other islands
To explore the beautiful surrounding islands, such as Koh Kradan or Koh Ngai, you can use a long-tail boat. You can negotiate with a boat driver or buy a ticket from one of the tour bureaus on the island or via 12go. You can purchase your ticket online and exchange your digital ticket for a paper ticket at the pier.
