Koh Wai – Snorkeling and Pristine Nature
Koh Wai is a small island near Koh Mak. You can visit for a day trip or as part of a snorkeling tour. Accommodation is available at the Koh Wai Beach Resort, but facilities are limited. Electricity is only available at certain times, and the only way to get around is on foot. What the island does offer are beautiful, lush small bays, clear water, and great opportunities for snorkeling and kayaking. From Koh Mak, you can reach it by speedboat in 30 minutes or by slow boat in about an hour.

For those who like to take in the sights from a bit of a distance, this is, as far as we know, the only viewpoint on Koh Mak. You can reach it by following a narrow uphill path in about 10 minutes. It’s a great spot to visit alongside the nearby Pebble Beach.
