Our unforgettable experience at Twin Lotus Resort on Koh Lanta

You know that feeling when you arrive somewhere and instantly know it’s the right place? That’s exactly how we felt at Twin Lotus! Even before we set foot on the resort, the excellent service began at Saladan Pier in Koh Lanta. We were greeted by the friendly staff with a refreshing cold towel and a bottle of chilled water before we hopped into the minibus heading to the resort. It was just what we needed after the ferry ride from Koh Phi Phi!

In less than ten minutes, we arrived at the stylish reception, beautifully situated on an island in a pond, complete with charming fountains. The serene surroundings instantly put us at ease. It’s also good to know that Twin Lotus is an adult-only resort; children under 18 are not allowed here. If you’re looking for beautiful resorts on Koh Lanta, Twin Lotus is definitely a top choice!

A relaxing getaway

To reach the reception, we had to cross a charming wooden bridge. Our luggage was already taken care of, and once again, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink and a cool towel. You instantly feel like you’re on vacation!

After checking in, we were asked to hop into a golf cart, which took us to our Deluxe Seaview Villa in just a few minutes. This top-notch service is especially nice on the large property. Wherever you want to go on the resort, just give them a call, and they’ll pick you up.

Our standalone villa was just a few meters from the beach, offering a lovely view of the sea and palm trees from our king-size bed. The mattress was heavenly—one we’d love to have at home! The villa featured a beautifully crafted high ceiling with a mosquito net, and there was a desk behind the bed for anyone needing to catch up on work while enjoying the stunning view.

Delicious breafast at Twin Lotus Resort & Spa

Twin Lotus Resort & Spa features two restaurants: Bua Fah Restaurant and Barracuda Restaurant & Beach Bar. The Bua Fah Restaurant serves an extensive breakfast buffet that is truly impressive. You’ll find a variety of cheeses, freshly made smoothies, (dried) fruits, a selection of hot and cold Western and Thai dishes, and an egg station where you can have your eggs cooked just the way you like them. Trust us, the breakfast at Twin Lotus is delicious and abundant—maybe skip the scale in your room for a while!

From the Bua Fah Restaurant, you can enjoy views of the sea and the pool. The restaurant also offers a pool table, dartboard, a large library with a cozy reading corner, and a bar. It’s a great spot to hang out even after dinner!

Twin Lotus Resort is located on Klong Dao Beach, a beautiful, wide, and long stretch of sand. The water is clear and gently slopes, making it perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking. The resort is situated in the quieter part of the beach, but if you stroll south along the shore, you’ll find several charming beach bars and restaurants. Most of these eateries are part of the hotels and resorts lining the beach. Twin Lotus also boasts a restaurant right by the water, offering a delightful dining experience. If you’re looking for a great resort on Koh Lanta, Klong Dao Beach is an excellent choice!
