Golden Pearl Beach, also known as Long Beach or Andaman Beach, is located on Koh Jum’s west coast. The beach’s name may vary between maps, hotels, and travel websites. Many travelers consider it one of the island’s most beautiful beaches, thanks to its peaceful atmosphere, clear water, swaying palm trees, and limited number of accommodations.

Swimming at Golden Pearl Beach

You can swim at Golden Pearl Beach, but check the tide first. At low tide, the beach can be rocky, and you may need to walk far into the water to find a good depth. At high tide, entering the water is usually easier.

The trees and palm trees provide shade in the morning and around midday. The beach is also a nice place for a walk or to watch the sunset.

Cozy bars and sunsets

In the south part of the beach, you’ll find Flow Bar by the water. We went there to watch the sunset. It was the perfect way to end the day.

If you walk north along Golden Pearl Beach, you’ll reach Rock Bar via Horizon Beach Resort. This cool ship-shaped bar is situated in a small bay with a rocky beach. It’s especially recommended if you enjoy a relaxed reggae atmosphere.

Fu Bar is about halfway along Golden Pearl Beach. It is a popular place to enjoy a drink and a relaxing evening by the sea. This area is also a good choice if you are staying elsewhere but want a quick drink and a view of the sunset. FU Bar Beach is right next to the island’s main road.
