When visiting Koh Chang, we decided to treat ourselves and stay at Chivapuri Beach Resort. It’s the only resort with a pool right on Klong Kloi Beach. The spacious pool caught our eye as we walked by—it looked amazing, with cozy shaded spots under big, beautiful trees. We just couldn’t resist! The resort is located on the quietest and widest stretch of Klong Kloi beach and is the most luxurious place to stay right by the sea. There are plenty of chill spots with bean bags, hammocks, and swings where you can relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Family bungalow with sea view

We stayed in a beautiful family bungalow with a spacious balcony that looked right out onto the sea. The room was lovely, featuring high ceilings, comfy beds, and shiny wooden floors. The bathroom was large, with both a shower and a freestanding tub that also had a sea view. The family suite included two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both opening onto the big terrace.

Chivapuri Beach Resort: family stay with water fun

During a stay at the Chivapuri Beach Resort on Klong Kloi Beach, you can enjoy complimentary use of the kayaks and SUP boards. We took a kayak and tried to visit to famous Ghost Ship not so far from the resort. The closest we could was in front of the beach as we were stopped by a guerd at the beach.

Chivapuri has an amazingly relaxed pool for families, one of the reasons you must book this resort when staying on the beautiful Klong Kloei Beach.

Great food & drinks at Chivapuri Beach Resort

The resort’s restaurant consistently and quality impressed us. We had the best fried rice we’ve tasted on Koh Chang and savored delicious tropical cocktails with a sea view. In our opinion, this resort is a great choice for a relaxing (family) vacation if you’re looking for more peace and comfort on Koh Chang.
