Just a five-minute walk from Phrom Phong BTS station, you’ll find EmSphere—the newest, sleek shopping mall in the lively EM District. Spread across six floors, EmSphere offers a mix of luxury fashion, lifestyle products, an IKEA, exclusive car shows, plus fantastic restaurants and bars. Whether you’re a shopaholic or just love to soak up great vibes, it’s where you can experience the city’s luxury scene at its best, from morning light through to late at night!

EmSphere has six floors packed with all kinds of shops, from high-end brands to trendy spots. You’ll also find great places to eat, cozy bars, and a modern cinema. Plus, there are wellness and fitness centers where you can work out, and a large entertainment center with a big concert hall.

Discover the best food and drinks on the ground floor of EmSphere’s EM Market Hall

On the ground floor of EmSphere, you’ll find a wide variety of food and drink options, divided into three categories: Thai (or Asian), Western, and desserts/cafés. Enjoy Western favorites like Panetti Pizza, Bread Street Kitchen by renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, and the popular American Shake Shack.

For authentic Thai flavors, there’s Nara Thai Kitchen and Pad Thai Fai Ta Lu. At the Thai tea house Cha Tra Mue, you can try famous tea varieties, while Pantongo Café offers the Chinese snack Patongo, a cross between a churro and a donut. Our favorite restaurant at EmSphere so far is Mami Rose (read our review).

ButterBear Café is very popular and definitely worth a visit. For Japanese treats, we recommend Hikari, where you can enjoy thin waffles filled with cream and fresh fruit. Also, Gourmet Garden is a luxury supermarket offering a range of unique and exclusive products.

Top shopping brands and wellness picks on the mezzanine (M floor).

The M floor, also known as the mezzanine, is a fancy spot where you’ll mainly find fashion and lifestyle stores. Here, you can shop at cool brands like Burberry, Chanel, and United Colors of Benetton. If you’re into wellness, there are also exclusive brands like Le Labo and Panpuri offering luxury skincare products. This floor is perfect if you’re looking for stylish clothes and high-quality wellness items. It’s a great place to treat yourself!

Pop-up experiences and top brands on EmSphere’s first floor

On the first floor of EmSphere, that’s F1, you’ll find lots of cool lifestyle and sports brands. Think big names like Adidas, Lacoste, and Levi’s. What makes this floor extra fun is that there are often pop-up experiences. For example, they used to have the Heineken Experience there.

Second floor: Luxury, tech, and cool gadgets

The second floor (F2 = EM Innovation of EmSphere). This is all about luxury and tech. You’ll find showrooms from top brands like Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, Cupra, and Lotus. There’s also a gym with an ice bath and pool, but it’s only open to Thai residents or people with a long-stay visa. Over at the Monowheel shop, you actually want to move as little as possible—here, you can even buy a suitcase that takes you from A to B. F2 is packed with cool gadgets for all ages, making it a must-visit spot for tech lovers and car enthusiasts alike!

Third floor = IKEA!

On the third floor of EmSphere in Bangkok, a surprising slice of Sweden awaits you: IKEA! Here, you can grab a sausage sandwich for less than 15 THB, find a brand-new bed to upgrade your bedroom, expand your dishware collection, and of course, don’t miss the iconic Swedish meatballs. What immediately stands out? Compared to the hustle and bustle back home in the Netherlands, this store is wonderfully calm and relaxed — a breath of fresh air! And yes, it almost felt like coming home when we spotted our trusty Kallax shelf among the aisles. Make sure to treat yourself to that refreshing ice cream too, because it tastes just like back home. An unexpected but delightful Swedish pit stop right in the heart of bustling Bangkok!

Fifth floor = EM Wonder

The fifth floor, better known as EM Wonder, is undoubtedly our favorite spot in EmSphere. We ended up here every day or evening! On this floor, you’ll find TRIBE, a popular beach bar with a pool, and the themed restaurant Mami Rose, where you can enjoy an amazing dinner. Don’t miss Dakjib either, a Korean grill restaurant specializing in grilled chicken – absolutely delicious

Be sure to bring your swimsuit or bikini when you visit EmSphere, because at TRIBE, on the fifth floor, you can relax by a pool! Enjoy the lounge chairs and tables while sipping a delicious cocktail. We ordered a margherita pizza and felt like we were on the Italian coast—until the breathtaking Bangkok skyline came back into view.

TRIBE is also the place to party, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. With various themed parties and a DJ spinning in an impressive booth full of light effects, the atmosphere guarantees an unforgettable evening.

Looking for the best spots? Then between Friday and Sunday, you’ll want to spend at least 3,000 THB on food and drinks. Some might think that’s a bit pricey, but given the service, quality, and unique location in the EM District, we reckon it’s totally worth it!

Sixth Floor = UOB Live entertainment arena

The sixth and top floor of EmSphere is home to UOB Live, a state-of-the-art venue that can hold up to 6,000 people. It hosts a variety of events, including concerts, theater shows, and sports matches. With its advanced technology and spacious design, UOB Live is the go-to spot for large-scale entertainment in Bangkok.

BTS Phrom Phong

Getting there: The shopping Mall is located in the EM District, between Sukhumvit Soi 22 and 24, and is directly connected to the BTS Phrom Phong station via a convenient and beautifully decorated skywalk. EmSphere is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.

Parking at EmSphere

If you’re coming to EmSphere by car, parking won’t be a problem. There’s a large underground parking lot, but if that’s full, you can always park on the fourth floor. That’s where IKEA’s parking garage is, so (hopefully) there’s plenty of space for your car.

EM District Bangkok

The EM District in Bangkok is one of the city’s most prestigious shopping areas, located along the bustling Sukhumvit Road between Soi 22 and 24. The district is made up of three iconic malls: Emporium, EmQuartier, and the newest addition, EmSphere, which opened on December 1, 2023. These ultra-luxurious shopping centers offer a unique experience, featuring everything from high-end fashion brands to top-notch dining and exclusive entertainment.
