There’s no denying that EmQuartier is a luxury shopping mall, and it definitely shows. If you don’t have a fat wallet, you might be tempted to turn around and leave. But if you go up a few floors, you’ll find more affordable brands and stores like Zara Home, H&M, and SuperDry. Plus, EmQuartier features a beautiful cinema (Cine-Art) and a unique water garden (Helix Quarter) that you really have to see!

EmQuartier Bangkok: Your floor-by-floor guide to shopping, dining and entertainment

The EmQuartier Center has seven floors, each with its own focus:

Floors 1-3: Fashion, accessories, cosmetics, and beauty treatments like manicures and facials. You’ll find luxury brands like Gucci, Prada, and Burberry, mid-range labels such as Coach, Michael Kors, and Kate Spade, plus more affordable options like Uniqlo, H&M, and Sephora.
Floor 4: Electronics and gadgets. This floor houses luxury stores like the Apple Store and Samsung Experience Store, mid-range brands including Xiaomi and Huawei, and Mobile Mania, where you can buy everything from vintage phones to the latest models and trade in your old device.
Floor 5: Cameras, accessories, and outlet stores featuring both local and international brands at discounted prices. You can also grab a bite at Fifth Food Avenue to take a break.

Sky Garden: Bangkok’s Jungle Oasis in the EmQuartier Mall

Sky Garden is a slice of jungle right in the middle of a shopping mall! Complete with terraces, waterfalls, fountains, and, of course, plenty of plants. What makes it extra special is that the garden isn’t fully enclosed; in some places, there’s only a low glass railing. The warm Bangkok breeze completes the tropical garden feel! The view over Bangkok’s concrete jungle is truly unique and perfect for capturing a great photo of the city and the BTS Skytrain.

Affordable eats and desserts at Quartier Food Hall (B1)

In the basement (B1), you’ll find the affordable Quartier Food Hall, offering a wide range of options like French, Thai, Chinese, and Western food, including McDonald’s, KFC, and Burger King. One side is even dedicated entirely to desserts! Main dishes cost between 80 and 250 baht. If you’re not on a budget, the upper floors of Helix Quartier are also great places to grab a bite.

Experience movies like never before at Quartier Cine-Art in Bangkok

Watching a movie in Bangkok isn’t what it used to be, especially at Quartier Cine-Art. This cinema is located on the fourth floor of the EmQuartier shopping mall and offers four unique ways to experience a film. According to them, you won’t find anything like this anywhere else in Bangkok.

True Screen X: Immerse in 270° cinema with sharp 9-projector views

Take the True Screen X cinema, for example. Instead of watching on just one screen, you watch on three at the same time, giving you a 270-degree view all around you. With nine projectors, the image stays super sharp. Prices start at 350 baht per person, but if you’re going with someone, you can grab a cozy two-seater couch for 800 baht.

AEON Theater: Bright screens and cozy seats

Or check out the AEON Theater. You won’t just sit in a regular seat here — they have lounge chairs and sofas with blankets because the air conditioning can get pretty chilly. The picture is way brighter than a normal cinema, about twenty times brighter according to them. You can even enjoy a meal before the movie starts. Tickets cost a bit more here, but that just makes the experience extra special.

Where to shop and stay in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit area near EmQuartier

EmQuartier is located in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit area. This popular and modern part of the city is known for its luxury shopping malls, restaurants, and excellent public transportation connections, especially along Sukhumvit Road. Emporium, another upscale shopping mall, is also very close—just about a 5-minute walk away via the skywalk. Hotels within a short walking distance include SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok and Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, both just about a 5-minute walk away.

How to get to EmQuartier and Emporium

Take the BTS and get off at Phrom Phong station. Use exit 5 or 6, then follow the skywalk to both EmQuartier or Emporium, which are next to each other. It takes about 5 minutes to walk between the two malls.
