Perception Blind Massage: A unique massage experience that makes a difference

During our 2019 trip to Thailand, we sought a massage experience that was both relaxing and meaningful. That’s when we discovered Perception Blind Massage, a unique establishment where visually impaired therapists provide exceptional treatments. Located in the heart of the city, this spa not only offers top-notch massages but also supports a noble cause by empowering the blind community through skilled employment.

Where in Bangkok is Perception Blind Massage located?

We visited the Silom branch of Perception Blind Massage. The spa is conveniently located near the BTS Skytrain’s Chong Nonsi Station, making it easily accessible. Before our massage we had a Thai cooking class at Blue Elephant Cooking School and after our massage we visited the Mahanakhon SkyWalk for our very first time.

There is also a Sathorn Branch that we still want to visit in the future.

Our experience: the personalized massage

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered a refreshing drink and a cold towel. We filled out a form to specify our massage preferences, including pressure level and focus areas. Each therapist provided a card detailing their background and aspirations, adding a personal touch to the experience. The massage rooms were serene and clean, enhancing our relaxation.

Perception Blind Massage offers a variety of treatments:

Thai Massage: 60 mins – 450 THB | 120 mins – 800 THB
Foot Massage: 60 mins – 450 THB | 90 mins – 600 THB
Aromatherapy Massage: 60 mins – 1,000 THB | 120 mins – 1,800 THB
Thai Herbal Ball Body Massage: 90 mins – 900 THB | 120 mins – 1,200 THB
Head-Back-Shoulder Massage: 60 mins – 450 THB | 90 mins – 600 THB

We opted for the 90-minute Thai massage, and it was worth every baht. The therapists’ heightened sense of touch ensured a deeply relaxing and effective session.
