We planned to visit RedSquare Rooftop Bar in 2020, but like many trips that year, it didn’t happen. In early 2022, we finally returned to Bangkok. For our last nights, we stayed at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 4, and RedSquare is right on the hotel’s rooftop.

On the 25th floor, RedSquare is a small but cozy rooftop bar with a relaxed setup. There’s a small pool with high-top tables and stools, plus comfy lounge areas near the bar. The red lighting and decor give it a bold, stylish look—matching its name from Russia’s famous square. The vibe is casual but polished, and it seats about 30 guests, so it never feels crowded.

Where in Bangkok is RedSquare Rooftop Bar located?

RedSquare Rooftop Bar sits on top of Novotel Bangkok in the busy Nana area. It’s just a 7–10 minute walk from BTS Nana Station, easy to reach by Skytrain. Located on Sukhumvit Soi 4, near the busy Sukhumvit Soi 11, it’s surrounded by street food, casual bars, and nightlife spots. Its central spot makes it perfect for a stop before or after dinner, or for sunset drinks with a view.

Though small, RedSquare offers a great panoramic view of Bangkok’s skyline. From your seat, you can see the rooftops of Nana, Asok, and Phloen Chit, with glowing high-rises in the distance. It’s especially stunning at sunset, when the light hits just right. On the 25th floor, the view is high enough to impress without feeling dizzy.

Architecture & Design

The design isn’t flashy but has a clean, modern look. The red-themed decor ties the furniture and lighting together, adding energy and character. At night, the red glow creates a warm, inviting vibe, especially near the pool and bar. Unlike other ultra-glam Bangkok sky bars, RedSquare focuses on comfort, atmosphere, and the view.

Ambiance & Atmosphere

RedSquare balances style and chill vibes. With music from hip-hop and dance to Thai pop, sometimes played live by a DJ, it has a youthful, lively energy. It’s not a loud party spot but still fun—great for nights out with friends or casual dates. The seating and lighting make it cozy and intimate, especially compared to bigger rooftop bars in Bangkok.

Hospitality

During our visit, the staff were warm, attentive, and helpful. Despite the small space, service was smooth and personal. They gladly offered recommendations from the cocktail and snack menus, and drinks came quickly, even during happy hour. The friendly, relaxed staff made the atmosphere even better—nothing felt rushed or formal.

Food

RedSquare has a small but good snack menu, perfect with drinks. Highlights include cold cuts, cheeses, Thai-style bites, mini burgers, quesadillas, and wraps. It’s light bar food, not full meals, great for snacking while enjoying the view. Prices are about 400 THB per plate, with portions made for sharing.

Beverage

RedSquare focuses on vodka, offering a large selection from around the world. Classic brands like Stolichnaya, Smirnoff, and Grey Goose sit alongside premium bottles like Crystal Head (Canada) and Ciroc (France). You can have vodka neat, on the rocks, or in vodka-based cocktails. If you don’t drink alcohol, they also offer mocktails, fruit shakes, and iced coffees.

What did we ordered in January 2022?

We tried some signature vodka cocktails, starting with the smooth, refreshing English Iced Tea and bold Canadian Rock Shot. The creative drink menu impressed us. Later, we had the fruity Big Mango and Wild Berry—perfect for sipping with the view. To balance, we ordered hot tapas. The Cajun-spiced shrimp stood out—crispy, flavorful, and addictive. We’d skip the cheese and jalapeño croquettes next time, but overall, it was tasty and fun.
