What did we order at Cielo Sky Bar & Restaurant in Bangkok?

While enjoying the evening above our Bangkok apartment, we tried several of Cielo’s signature cocktails. The best was the Leporis—a well-balanced mix of Tito’s Vodka with berries, Umeshu, Campari, Vermouth, and other tasty ingredients. Made by award-winning mixologist Tommy Suwan Seelee, the cocktails here are exceptional and a key reason Cielo stands out among Bangkok’s sky bars.

We started dinner with a fresh Classic Caesar Salad and crispy Deep-Fried Calamari—both tasty and well made. For mains, we chose two highlights from the Chef’s Selection: Khao Soi with Wagyu Beef, a rich northern Thai curry noodle dish, and Cielo’s Crying Tiger Beef—grilled Australian Wagyu smoked over dried coconut shells, served with roasted rice powder, fresh herbs, and spicy Thai nam jim jaew sauce. Both dishes were expertly cooked and beautifully plated. For dessert, we enjoyed two treats: rich Gâteau au Chocolat with vanilla ice cream and the Thai-style “Mor Kaeng” Crème Brûlée, a smooth custard with a crispy caramel top, also with vanilla ice cream. A delicious end to a memorable evening.

In 2025, we lived for a month in Bangkok’s W District. This creative urban area is in the lively Phra Khanong part of Sukhumvit Road. At its center is W Market, a large open-air food and beer garden with international food stalls, craft beer bars, and chill-out spots—perfect for after-work drinks or weekend hangouts.
