Baiyoke Sky is on the 83rd floor of a hotel at 222 Ratchaprarop Road in busy Pratunam. The hotel is 309 meters tall, one of Thailand’s tallest buildings. It’s close to popular shopping spots like Platinum Fashion Mall and Pratunam Market. The Ratchaprarop Airport Rail Link station is nearby for easy access. Elevators reach all public floors for guest convenience.

Built in 1997, Baiyoke Tower II is an 88-story skyscraper designed by Plan Architects. It combines hotel rooms, dining spots, and observation areas to offer great views of Bangkok. The rooftop bar isn’t very fancy, but the views make up for it.

Food

The Sky Bar has limited food, mostly fried snacks and burgers. However, the hotel offers several other dining options:

• Fruit Court (18th Floor): Offers a fruit buffet with various tropical fruits, including a free plate of fresh durian.
• Crystal Grill Restaurant (82nd Floor): Specializes in premium seafood and steak buffets, including grilled river prawns, oysters, imported steaks, sushi, and sashimi.
• Bangkok Sky Restaurant (76th & 78th Floors): Offers a diverse international buffet, including Thai street food, seafood, pasta, and more.

Drinks

Besides classic cocktails, Baiyoke Sky’s rooftop bar offers fun frozen drinks and a signature cocktail called the Red Summit. If you don’t want a cocktail, you can enjoy a cold Chang beer or a soda while taking in the amazing views.

What did we order at Baiyoke Sky in Bangkok?

We tried classic cocktails like the Mojito and were pleasantly surprised—they tasted great and had the right kick. Funny enough, we still remember our first visit in 2016 when we joked if there was any alcohol in the drinks. Thankfully, things have improved a lot since then!

Our favorite this time? Definitely the Frozen Mango Daiquiri. It was large, sweet, and delicious—perfect for a warm Bangkok night.
