Above Eleven is on the 33rd and 34th floors of Fraser Suites Sukhumvit at 38/8 Sukhumvit Soi 11, a lively area known for nightlife and dining. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Nana BTS Skytrain Station. To reach the bar, enter through the Fraser Suites driveway and take the elevator at the back.

Food

Above Eleven specializes in Nikkei cuisine, mixing Peruvian and Japanese flavors. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including:

What did we order at Above Eleven in Bangkok?

During our many visits to Above Eleven, we’ve tried many cocktails—and they’ve all been great. On our latest visit, we chose the “Journey Through Peru” set menu. We started with a refreshing cebiche, fresh fish marinated in tangy leche de tigre, a perfect intro to Nikkei cuisine.

For our mains, we picked two standout dishes. One was Arroz con Pato, tender confit of organic Muscovy duck leg with mom’s classic cilantro rice, creamy huancaína sauce, and chili salsa criolla—comforting and flavorful. The other was Beef Cheek Quinotto, slow-cooked beef cheek (braised for 50 hours!) served with corn and quinoa quinotto, rich and herby.

To finish, we tried two desserts from the set menu. The Tres Leches—a vanilla sponge soaked in three milks and topped with whipped cream—was light and rich. The Peruvian Alfajor, a delicate biscuit filled with creamy dulce de leche, was the perfect ending. An unforgettable meal from start to finish!
