Mami Rose is a lively and stylish restaurant on the 5th floor of EmSphere shopping center in Bangkok. It offers a nostalgic 1980s Miami vibe. Whether for a romantic night or fun with friends, Mami Rose serves creative cocktails, tasty dishes, and a unique atmosphere. Since our first visit in September 2024, we’ve happily returned many times. Created by the team behind Bangkok’s famous skybar, Pastel, this spot will charm you and keep you coming back.

From the station, it’s a five-minute walk on a covered skywalk to EmSphere. The spot is perfect for a meal combined with shopping or visiting nearby places like IKEA in EmSphere—great for a relaxed browse after eating.

For dessert, the Macaron Sunday is a highlight, served with ice cream, macarons, warm chocolate, and caramel sauce—perfect for sharing.

Our dinner at Mami Rose started with a nice surprise: a free glass of bubbles, setting the mood for a great meal. We began with half-smoked salmon tataki, paired with creamy miso mayo. The fish was tender, and the flavors blended perfectly, making us eager for more.

For the main course, we enjoyed the Entrecôte Café de Paris with hand-cut fries and a fresh, vibrant salad. The steak was perfectly cooked, with a rich, buttery sauce that lifted the dish. To balance the richness, we shared a refreshing burrata salad with creamy burrata, delicate raw ham, and sweet melon—a light and satisfying burst of flavors.

As we neared the end of our meal, the dessert arrived—an absolute showstopper. The Macaron Sunday, designed for sharing, was a true masterpiece. Served with ice cream, macaron bites, warm chocolate sauce, and caramel sauce, this dessert was nothing short of indulgent and visually stunning, making it a memorable finale to our meal.

Throughout the evening, we enjoyed an excellent red wine from Poggio Dragone, Italy, which paired perfectly with the rich steak. We also tried signature cocktails. The Mezcal de los Mortos stood out with its smoky, refreshing mix of mezcal, sweet vermouth, Aperol, and lime juice. The Plata O Plomo, inspired by the series Narcos, was equally great, with tropical flavors that matched the lively vibe of the restaurant.

Mami Rose exceeded our expectations with its great service, delicious food, and creative cocktails. This experience was unforgettable, and we can’t wait to visit again!
