Service & Hospitality
From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Bellboys handled our luggage, and the concierge greeted us warmly. Check-in was smooth, with drinks, snacks, and cool towels offered. Staff remembered our names and preferences, making us feel at home. The daily turndown service with slippers and sweet treats was a lovely touch.

Architecture & Design
Banyan Tree Bangkok’s slim high-rise is a striking part of the skyline. Inside, it blends Asian elegance with modern style. Natural materials, soft colors, and artistic details make the hotel feel both luxurious and calming.

Our Room: One-Bedroom Suite
Living room
The living area had a long sofa, Nespresso machine, minibar with daily water refills, and welcome treats. A control panel by the door made adjusting lights and air-conditioning easy.

Bedroom
A plush king-size bed with soft linens welcomed us, decorated for our upcoming wedding. Large windows showed wide city views, and a cozy seating area was perfect for relaxing.

Bathroom
Behind sliding doors was a large bathroom with double sinks, a rain shower, and a freestanding tub filled with rose petals on our first night—a romantic touch we’ll always remember.

Facilities
Banyan Tree Spa
The award-winning Banyan Tree Spa has 16 rooms and many treatments. We enjoyed the 90-minute Master Therapist Experience—a highlight of our stay. Our therapists, Yui and her colleague, gave us one of the best massages ever.

Our 90-minute Master Therapist Experience at Banyan Tree Spa was truly one of the best massages we’ve had. From the peaceful spa reception, we felt relaxed. Khun Yui welcomed us warmly and discussed our preferences before guiding us to the calming Peppermint Room. Soft lighting, gentle music, and soothing scents set the mood. The skilled therapists blended relaxation with deep tissue work, paying attention to every detail—from warmed towels after each stroke to tea and fruit after the session. It wasn’t just a massage but a full body and mind renewal. We left feeling refreshed, balanced, and ready to do it again.

Pool
Located on the 21st floor, the outdoor pool is surrounded by greenery and sunbeds. Free neck and shoulder massages are offered daily from 13:00 to 16:00 , with fruit and water served from 14:00 to 16:00 hours.

The Gym & Health Club
The gym is fully equipped with cardio and weight machines. Morning workouts at 07:00 helped balance out all the delicious food. The Health Club also hosts yoga, Muay Thai, and pilates classes.
Banyan Tree Gallery
The in-house boutique sells eco-conscious fashion, art, jewelry, and wellness products, supporting sustainable Thai craftsmanship.

Banyan Tree Club Lounge
Guests in select suites can use the Club Lounge on the 19th floor. It offers breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails, snacks, and private check-in/out. We often relaxed there with a drink and snack during our stay.
The Club Lounge benefits at a glance:
– Free drinks including cocktails, mocktails, local beers, wines, coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks.
– Free savory and sweet snacks, canapés, and a buffet of hot and cold Thai and Western dishes served regularly.
– Free laundry or ironing for up to 2 garments daily (dry cleaning not included).
– Free use of the boardroom for up to three hours per stay (subject to availability).
– Registration and express check-out in the Club Lounge during 06:00 and 21:00 hours.

Food & Drinks
Romsai
Breakfast at Romsai soon became a favorite part of our stay at Banyan Tree Bangkok. The bright, green space with large windows and an outdoor courtyard made us forget the city around us. Each morning, we enjoyed cappuccinos or Thai iced teas while choosing from buttery croissants, fresh tropical fruit, cold cuts, and cheese.

The egg station stood out, with chefs making eggs just how we liked. We kept going back to the noodle bar—there’s something comforting about a hot bowl of noodles with the right kick of chili in the morning. A highlight was patongo, Thai deep-fried dough dipped in sweet condensed milk—a treat we loved. Every breakfast felt like a quiet, luxurious moment before the busy day in Bangkok.

Bai Yun
Lunch at Bai Yun still brings us joy. On the 59th floor, the views alone were stunning, but the Cantonese food made it unforgettable. We chose dim sum and loved the taste and presentation. The shrimp har gow was delicate and flavorful, while the jade dumpling with bonito flakes had a fun twist—the flakes “danced” in the steam before we ate. The fried tofu skin with shrimp was crispy and tasty, and the Yang Chow fried rice with barbecue pork and roasted duck was rich, balanced, and comforting. For dessert, we shared black sesame and vanilla ice cream, a perfect, subtle finish. Dining at Bai Yun was more than food—it was a full, elevated experience.
Saffron & Saffron Cruise
Saffron, Banyan Tree Bangkok’s signature Thai fine-dining restaurant, is known for modern, refined Thai cuisine. Though we didn’t dine there, we enjoyed its flavors on the Saffron Cruise. This luxury dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River was a highlight of our stay. As we passed Bangkok’s lit-up landmarks, we savored a multi-course meal by the talented Saffron team, blending rich Thai flavors with creative presentation. The service was perfect, the setting romantic, and each dish a masterpiece. It was a beautiful culinary journey on the water that made our pre-honeymoon unforgettable.

Vertigo, Vertigo Too and Moon Bar
Bangkok’s famous rooftop dining. We enjoyed a romantic four-course meal at Vertigo, then cocktails under the stars at Moon Bar. Don’t miss it!
Do you know?
Vertigo and Moon Bar was the first rooftop restaurant and bar in Bangkok.
We LOVE this rooftop restaurant and its Moon Bar! Read our extensive review.

Tahei
Tahei, a two-floor Japanese spot, impressed us with its teppanyaki and sushi. With nearly 100 sakes to choose from, it’s a must for Japanese food lovers.

High Tea at the Lobby Lounge
We enjoyed a lovely high tea with scones, finger sandwiches, and many teas in the elegant lobby lounge.
